Icy Strait Point is Located down the road from Alaska's largest Tlingit village. It is a really small place but at the same time is beautiful place to go. I went to Icy Strait Point this year (2009) while working for Sea Princess Cruises as a photographer. The place was so nice and beautiful that i start to photograph it. I took a bus from the port and then i stoped in downtown for walk and see how the people live. I decided to take some picrures of the houses which i loved and try to see the lifestyle of this people...what i saw was amazing and completed diferent then the other places that i went. So this project is about the lifestyle of the people from Icy Strait Point and the spaces all around the city. I took some landscapes with the mountains, the snow and water but also I tryed to catch empty spaces to show how this people live.

On this picture above, we can see and realise the typical lifestyle of the people from Icy Strait Point. There´s lots of houses with many diferent objects outside and cars or trucks that doesn´t work. When I was there I tryed to get In to the houses to find some person but...nothing. At this place just one person came to me to talk. It was an old man. We talk about many things but he asked me lot and a lot of questions which I understood...I was a person that he doesn´t knew. So I realise that this place has many empty houses and on that moment I realise that I was inside of many uncommon places and at the same time unknowned places.
